Our HistoryAs a career truck operator, our namesake, Tom Peace, wanted to build a company that put its drivers first and created personal relationships with each and every customer.
Tom Peace Trucking Co. was founded in 1985. Our operations began out of the the family residence with a truck and a dream. With hard work, ambition, dedication, and our customers business, we were able to grow our fleet, add a shop for our fleet repairs, and add on a diverse, educated and equally ambitious group of personnel.
Our Mission
At Tom Peace Trucking Co., our mission is to provide our customers with safe, and efficient deliveries. We want to continue to build a great customer and employee rapport and continue to expand our business, while maintaining our roots of honest, integrity and personal relationships.
What We Do
Our specialization in the industry is short haul loose aggregate. Materials include gravel, sand, rock, dirt, scrap and metals. While we have our specialized area, we also are capable of additional load material by ensuring that we have a wide range of trailers.
Our fleet is comprised of Kenworth tractors that are equipped with CAT and Cummins engines. Our trailers are comprised of end dumps, lowboys, RGNs, flatbeds and step decks.
While we are a small business we have a big reputation to live up to! We offer our services locally, regional and nationally. A vast majority of our work is located in MO, KS, CO, and OK but our OTR drivers travel far and wide to ensure customers needs are handled nationally.
Our operations could not be as successful as they are if we did not vet our applicants and hire only the best! Therefore, our customers can rest assured that we only hire professional
drivers that have the experience and know-how to get any job done and are great at
catering to clients’ specific needs. We pride ourselves on professionalism and the drive to go above and beyond the industry standard expectations.
